For nearly 30 years, professionals at Wingfield Environmental have been involved in the investigation and cleanup of underground storage tank (UST) sites in North Carolina, Kentucky, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia. Over all these years, our staff has amassed valuable experience in the employment of various investigative techniques to aid in the characterization of petroleum sites. And, once these sites have been characterized, and should they present adequate risk to human health and/or environment, we have decades of experience in designing, developing and implementing remedial technologies to best fit the given situation of each site.
Wingfield Environmental is one of the larger and most respected providers of UST related investigation and cleanup services in the state of Tennessee and has a well-established history in southwest Virginia with respect to UST related investigation and cleanups as well. Recently, Wingfield has expanded its UST related services into the state of Kentucky with multiple projects and resumed UST related work in West Virginia at multiple locations. Our professionals are known for their expertise in this field and have developed an outstanding working relationship with the various UST regulatory staff in the various states in which work is conducted.
In most instances, if a UST related insurance fund exists in a state (e.g., TN, VA, KY, and NC) and the client is eligible for coverage by that fund, Wingfield can provide investigative and/or remedial services and wait on any payment from the insurance fund above any applicable deductible. In other words, Wingfield Environmental will carry all investigative and cleanup costs once any applicable deductible has been met such that the client does not have to disrupt his/her cash flow to deal with this unwanted and unfortunate situation.
If you have just realized that you have a leaking UST and are in need of an experienced environmental contractor to assist you in an investigation or cleanup, or if you are tired of paying monthly invoices to your current environmental contractor and need some cash flow relief, contact us at Wingfield Environmental to see what we can do for you.
